The housing production is further expanded and eight different camera and flash housings are added to the product range.

A completely new development is the SEAFLASH underwater flash device. SEACAM employs Germany´s Subtronic electronic system but unlike the original, SEACAM´s flash device is weightless under water.

The almost forgotten Galilei viewfinder for cameras is adapted and introduced for the first time in underwater housings. The result is a new and substantially improved viewfinder which is firmly installed in the housing and offers very good viewing characteristics. First contacts are made with South-East Asia and the U.S.
